Rosberg wins Singapore Gp to take title lead....:)

So the title fight will be close and will be a tough fight for Hamiton to retain the title. Well, the race in Singapore was a spectacular one as usual. The drama of the street circuit and the thrill of seeing the cars race close to each other. Where the tyre strategy varies with the temperature of the track and the ultimate result is solely dependent on the driver skills. A superb drive saw Nico Rosberg win Sunday's 2016 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix after holding off a late charge from Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo by just 0.4s. Rosberg now leads his teammate in the standing by eight points.

As Rosberg headed Ricciardo, Hamilton and Raikkonen into the first corner, Max Verstappen made a very slow start. The Toro Rosso to the right of the Red Bull, he came into contact with Nico Hulkenberg's Force India which was spun across the Dutchman's bows and hard into the pit wall. The accident was declared as a racing incident.

What do you say to this kind of incidents? where the car is taken out of the race even before the first corner.
The amount of damage that is caused to the car and the cost of repair to the cars will be probably at least thousands of dollars or even pounds.

It seems that all the cars were struggling with brake temperature issues, the street circuit did really create a lot of problem to the teams and the tyre management. Everyone including Hamilton to the Manors, Ricciardo and the race leader were struggling with brake issues. It is quite absurd to find that all the cars were struggling with the same issues.

The possible reason could be the humid weather of Singapore. The humidity in the air must be cooling the breaks at a much quicker rate. The turns came late and the breaks became cool fast.

It went to the extent to which the Williams gave orders to the drivers to  ignore the brake warnings.
Well, everything worked well for the weekend for Rosberg. During the crucial last laps the soft tyres were 28 laps old. All around that final lap, Ricciardo was closing, closing.  But there was no dramatic last-corner denouement, as Rosberg held it together and crossed the line those four crucial tenths of a second ahead.

His eighth victory of the season makes him the first non-champion to win in Singapore and puts him on 273 points, to Hamilton;s 265.

The driver of the race - Sebastian Vettel, the crowds an excellent run (effectively a two-stopper) from him. Sebastian Vettel climbed from last to fifth and deservedly secure the Driver of the Day vote from fans, as Verstappen drove another typically feisty race, with plentiful overtaking, as he fought back from eighth place on the opening lap to take sixth.
